BLOWN
We used to travel back when I was a child
But now they’ve hid the path, but up bars and added signs
Everything is changing they say it all the time
It wouldn’t be a bad thing if I had a little more worth for my while
And why does one broken fool
have to ruin it for us all
And how does one broken fool
Ruin it for us all
It’s been a little while since I lived in a house
I must admit that I still don’t know
what night it is the bins are meant to go out
sometimes I miss the open road And all it has to show
Like a stranger waving you down
to tell you that your tail light has blown
I know you see the world a little darker than I do
So would you come to me to say
if everything is mounting on you
You’ll divert your eyes as you say you’re doing fine
we can blow the dust off the heavy stuff
one breath at a time
Please know that I’m there for you
Say it so I know that you do
And where was I mate to take away the bottle
Now I need a mate to take away the bottle too
